Feed Seal Ring
Overall structure
Located on the outside diameter of the feed pipe, the mill's feed liner runs with the mill, and the feed seal ring is tapered, which prevents spillage of slurry at the feed end by mating with a sealing plate mounted on the end of the mill's feed liner.
As it wears, the sealing plate maintains its fit on the tapered feed seal ring under the action of rubber elasticity, forming a seal.
The conical surface of the feed seal ring, which typically wears out quickly, has an additional ceramic patch that dramatically increases the service life of the feed seal ring.
